To keep all our
customers aware of upcoming events, below is a list of upcoming Refunds Today and IRS
activities for the next few days.
Friday – January 26th
IRS Early Participation – HUB Testing
Friday – January 26th
IRS Early Participation – HUB Testing
§ HUB testing will shut down today (1/26/18) at 5PM EST.
§ No acknowledgements will be received after 5PM until the IRS
officially opens for the 2018 tax season on Monday January 29th.
Monday – January 29th
2018 Tax Filing Season Begins
§ Starting on January 29th, the IRS will be accepting e-filed
individual tax returns.
Wolters Kluwer’s Electronic Filing Center (EFC) Maintenance
§ January 30th, the EFC will be undergoing scheduled maintenance
between 10PM to 2AM EST
§ E-filing returns will still be accepted, but no acknowledgements
will be processed. When the maintenance window has finished, acknowledgements
will begin processing again.
§ The Alternate Prep Solution through Refunds Today Desktop will be
available during this maintenance window, however, transmission of returns to Refunds Today Online will not be available until maintenance is complete.
Tuesday – January 30th
Refunds Today Online Maintenance
§ Refunds Today Online will be performing maintenance on January 30th from
5AM to 9AM EST.
§ Starting at 5AM, Refunds Today Online will be unavailable while
maintenance is being completed.
