GetWise 2023 Annual Conference: The Refunds Today Training Event You Don’t Want to Miss!

During the move to virtual training events during the pandemic years of 2020 and 2021, tax professionals were inundated by new players in the tax training space. It seemed as if almost everyone had a virtual seminar to offer.

In the wake of the Covid-19 shutdown however, many of these newer vendors stuck around with their ‘go-to’ virtual offerings and some even added in-person events as well. The result? Tax professionals had more options to get CE/CTE/CTEC training than ever before.

But do more training choices really mean higher quality training choices for tax professionals? Of course not. That’s why there’s no better time to distinguish the GetWise 2023 Annual Conference: Refunds Today Training Event from the ‘also-rans’ in the tax training space.

Benefits that make GetWise a can’t miss event for every Refunds Today software user:
  1. Exclusive Refunds Today software training, that attendees won’t find elsewhere.
  2. Opportunities to learn about new Refunds Today software enhancements in the software itself.
  3. Meet first-hand with Refunds Today product, tech support and marketing leaders.
  4. Peer to peer knowledge sharing opportunities with other successful Refunds Today users.
  5. Information about year-end tax law updates (info not available at events earlier in the year.)
  6. Up to 16 CE/CPE/CTEC with in-person Houston event which includes virtual training also.
  7. Fun and relaxing evening reception for building valuable networking connections.
  8. And more!
With all the benefits obtained with a GetWise Refunds Today Training event registration, its hard to rationalize how other tax training options can adequately stack up and most importantly, prepare you for your most successful tax season yet.

It’s not too late to register though! Click here to learn how you can take part in this special event. Better yet, sign-up and bring your entire tax team for maximum results.

We look forward to seeing all of our Refunds Today software users in Houston on 11/30 and/or virtually on 12/5-7.

State News: North Carolina Reject Code NCCD405-1140

Please review the important information below from the North Carolina Department of Revenue (NCDOR) concerning Reject Code NCCD405-1140.

The NCDOR has identified an issue with the Business Rule NCCD405-1140. Returns are rejecting when there is a holding company and the box is checked to indicate that they’re claiming an exception, and the amount on line 2 is 150,000. The NCDOR is performing internal testing and will provide an update when this issue is resolved.

Please be advised that you may hold these returns until the issue is resolved; however, with the approaching deadline and no ETA on the resolution, you may want to transmit any impacted returns although they will be rejected, so that you have made a good faith effort to timely file the return(s).
