- This is just a 4th quarter issue relating to estimated individual payments (Q1-Q3 payments were accepted at the original address).
- If a check is sent to the incorrect address it will likely be returned to the sender. In this case, it would need to be immediately resubmitted to the correct address. If a taxpayer receives a penalty, then a penalty abatement can be requested and should include proof of the returned mail.
